YMCA Community Action Project is the longest running juvenile deliquency prevention program in our area. Tthe Strong Kids Campaign goal for YCAP in 2012 is $45,000. Funds raised enable us to change the lives of those referred to us by the juvenile justice system and/or the schools. Over 90% of the participants imrpoved the grades in the four subject areas of math, science, reading and language arts by three letter grades. Less than 2% of the participants commit an offense that requires additional juvenile court intervention.
