When you give to the Y, you continue to strengthen our community and move us all forward. As the nation's leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y uses your gift to make a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood.

Your gift to the YMCA helps to provide support for programs that teach young people life and leadership skills, peaceful conflict resolution and core values. Charitable gifts also provide financial assistance to ensure low income families have equal opportunities to participate in Y programs.

A sample of the way your gifts can help:

• $500 helps a family spend quality time together through a one-year membership to the YMCA
  
• $375 allows a high school student to experience leadership opportunities through the Youth & Government program
  
• $300 enables a child to participate in an educational after school program for one month
  
• $250 allows four children to play on a sports team, where every child gets to play
  
• $175 allows a teen parent to stay in high school while a child is cared for at New Lives or New Beginnings for a week
  
• $100 helps a child experience an unforgettable week of summer day camp
