My name is Zach and I am 9 years old. This summer I found out Congress passed a resolution to make November National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. As soon as I heard about it I knew I had to do something big to bring attention to the 1.3 million kids that are homeless in this country. I decided to walk from my hometown to Tallahassee, 250 miles, 11 miles a day for 23 days. I thought it would show how important this issue is to me. It would also allow Govenor Crist a chance to show his support for this very important issue. I am committed to trying to help these kids and I know not everyone has the time to walk with me. If you would like to show your support for this cause please donate and know that your money will be going to help homeless kids across the county!
