Benefiting BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA

PREPARE FOR THE THRILL OF A LIFETIME - HELPING SOMEONE ELSE.

On Friday, May 18, 2018, the Boy Scouts will hold their 9th annual 21 Stories for Scouts Rappelling Event on the side of one of the most iconic buildings in Rochester -- Kodak Tower. Be among the first to accept the challenge.

With a $1,000 tax deductible donation or the commitment to raise $1,000 or more, you can get the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of descending the outside of the building and positively affecting the lives of hundreds of youth in our community.

Because it's run by the Scouts for the Scouts, donations go directly toward underwriting outreach programs for urban youth in the city of Rochester including over 40 after-school programs and summer camp experiences. The Seneca Waterways Council, Boy Scouts of America serves nearly 11,000 young people each year with leadership and character development programs that change life and help prepare young people for life.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

BE A RAPPELLER - Contribute or commit to raising $1,000 by May 18 and you can rappel down the side of Kodak Tower. Set up a fundraising page using the link above. We've put together this handy Fundraising Guide to help you be successful, but it's actually easier than you think.

TEAM UP, RAPPEL DOWN - Companies can sponsor a team of up to five rappellers for a commitment of $4,000. The company sets up a Team Fundraising page on our website and encourages their participants to raise money toward the goal. The Team Sponsor is only responsible for any remaining balance toward the goal.

Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. Contact Tony Vogl at tony.vogl@scouting.org or (585) 241-8556 for more information on how your business can gain visibility to over 107 rappellers and nearly 1,000 donors in this event.
