Take Steps In Their Shoes

Saturday, June 03, 2017

Slip on or lace up your favorite purple shoes and join us for Take Steps In Their Shoes. Join this event to raise awareness about domestic violence and funds to support the services of Steps to End Domestic Violence, formerly Women Helping Battered Women.

Walk with us in unity along the Pine Street corridor while wearing purple shoes to raise awareness about domestic violence.

Bid on silent auction items to support our services and programs.

Listen to the stories of those affected by domestic violence through curated storytelling.

Encourage friends and family to register, or create a team and take steps together. This is a family friendly event. The first 100 individual participants to raise $500 will earn an event t-shirt. The top fundraising team will earn a special team trophy. If you can't attend our event, but would still like to support us, please feel free to donate to a participant's fundraising page.

Our services and programs are available to everyone affected by domestic violence in Chittenden County, Vermont. With your fundraising support we can continue to provide these critical services, at no cost.
