 - Maintain and assist support groups

 - Produce an annual symposium

- Provide public awareness about PD

- Facilitate programs for people with PD

Support Groups and ClassesExercise is important for everyone, but for people living with Parkinson's disease, it is essential to maintain balance, mobility, and daily living activites.  Support groups are also an important source of peer and community support for those living with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers.  Currently, there are support group meetings on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island, as well as exercise classes at various YMCA locations on Oahu. We encourage everyone to learn more about these local classes and support groups and try them out! If you know of any support groups or classes for people living with Parkinson's that are not listed on our website, please let us know!  Email info@parkinsonhawaii.org
