The Hawaii Parkinson Walk is an annual fundraiser for Hawaii Parkinson Association (HPA) and helps raise awareness about Parkinson's disease and funds to support those living with Parkinson's and their caregivers in Hawaii. The Walk will be held Saturday, November 4, from 9am-Noon. This fun and FREE event is for all ages and abilities! It features a walk, live entertainment, kid zone, exercises for all age and ability, and prizes to the top fundraisers. Participants are encouraged to ask friends and family to sponsor their participation in the event by making a tax deductible donation to HPA.

EVENT SCHEDULE: SATURDAY, Novemeber 4, 2017 at Magic Island, 9am-Noon
9:00am: Event and registration tents open!
9:30am: Boxing for Parkinson's demo for Orthosport
9:40am: HPA awards presentation for Volunteer and Community Support, followed by blessing
10:00am: Walk begins, head to the starting line under the balloon archway.
10:30am: LSVT Demonstration followed by Fundraising prizes announced on stage
Noon: Mahalo for supporting us! Event ends.
NOTE: If you are volunteering, your shift start time will be arranged directly with the Volunteer Manager. Shift times vary with some beginning as early as 7am.
FREE PARKING: There is plenty of free and handicap parking in the lot on Magic Island. We will also have volunteers waiting to assist you if you would like to drop someone off directly at the event and then go and park.
