Gavin Gambuzza Dancing for the Horses 2017

Gavin is a current Senior at Bearden High School.  He is very interested in local government and was on the “Yes on 1” campaign.  He is also an active member of the Tennessee Right to Life organization.  Gavin is a big fan of all University of Tennessee athletics and was especially touched by the life of long-time Lady Vols head coach Pat Head Summit.  Gavin was the caption of the Bearden High School bowling team this year and finished his career ranked 7th in the region.  Gavin’s heroes include AIDs victim/activist Ryan White, bowler Earl ‘The Pearl’ Anthony, and singer Kate Smith.  Gavin is a big supporter of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and hopes to someday stop the deadly virus.  He anticipates to someday become a Elementary School teacher and hopes he can impact the young minds of the future.  This is Gavin’s first time Dancing for the Horses, and he hopes to bring home the Issac Award like his mom, Belinda Gambuzza, did last year.  He would like to thank the late Sharon Sexton for giving him hope in everything he does, and the big man upstairs for making it all possible.
