Join us for the Walk to Feed the Hungry in San Jose, CA. The Walk will be a pilgrimage from temple to temple, starting at Buddhi Vihara and ending at the Ocean of Compassion (Gyalwa Gyatso) Buddhist Center. The Walk will be 4.8 miles, starting at 8:15 am (with registration beginning at 7:30 am) and ending about 12 pm.

You are all invited. Please bring snacks and/or a packed lunch.

This is our opportunity to practice conscientious compassion in community on our streets. We will walk together in solidarity raising awareness among our neighbors about chronic hunger and malnutrition around the world; and raising funds to support sustainable projects to end them. Mindful walking, generosity, listening to inspiring talks, and making spiritual friends are great ways to heal, brighten, and develop the mind as taught by the Buddha.

People are welcome to join in or depart as they need during the five-mile walk.
