ABOUT THE TROT
Each year Norton Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital Foundation host a “Try” – Athlete Trot during Camp Brave Hearts at Center for Courageous Kids, raising funds exclusively for Camp Brave Hearts. Camp Brave Hearts is a week-long camp tailored for children ages 6-16 who have undergone heart surgery, heart-related procedures, or who require medical treatment for heart disease. Camp Brave Hearts allows them to do things they thought were impossible!
In celebration of Camp Brave Hearts 20th Anniversary, we are launching a “Virtual Trot,” so even family, friends and alumni can participate in support of our Brave Hearts! Each year over 100 campers seek sponsors for their walk-run around camp, but we want to grow our reach and help seek additional trot sponsors which support our campers. Camp Brave Hearts is operated by volunteers and donations.
To register for the “Virtual Trot” click the Join Now button to get started! Once you have registered you will have your own personal fundraising page to help you with surpassing the fundraising goal of $200 per registrant. The overall goal for Camp Brave Hearts “Try” – Athlete Trot is $20,000.
If you are interested in supporting this event we encourage you to pledge to an individual or a specific team - donating $20, $200 or $2,000 in honor of the 20th Anniversary! You can also just hit the Donate button.
