Childhood cancer remains the number one disease killer of children in the United States today, according to the American Childhood Cancer Association, and it is affecting children and families right here in our community. All funds raised by Aiden’s Legacy through this event will benefit Norton Children’s Cancer Institute, which stands as a beacon of hope and expert cancer care to families in Kentucky, Southern Indiana and beyond.
Norton Children’s Cancer Institute was formed by combining the resources of the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center at Norton Children’s Hospital with the Norton Cancer Institute and in affiliation with University of Louisville Physicians. Norton Children’s Cancer Institute provides the latest in pediatric cancer treatments, programs for treating rare tumors and blood disorders, a bone marrow transplant program and resources to support the needs of patients and their entire family.
