One Tail at a Time is excited to be part of the
Bank of America Chicago Marathon's Charity Program
Thousands of runners from more than 100 countries and all 50 states, including a world-class elite field, top regional and masters runners, race veterans, debut marathoners and charity runners will participate in the 39th Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The race’s iconic course takes runners through 29 vibrant neighborhoods on an architectural and cultural tour of Chicago.
The marathon has a time limit of 6 hours and 30 minutes. Participants wishing to complete the 26.2-mile event within that time-frame will need to maintain a 15-minute/mile pace or faster.
Registration for the marathon will be through a system of guaranteed entries and non-guaranteed entries selected in a drawing.
One Tail at a Time will have guaranteed entries available starting October 25th, 2016. Runners who obtain a guaranteed entry through One Tail at a Time agree to raise at least $1,000 for the rescue. Runners looking for a marathon spot after the drawing through One Tail at a Time agree to raise at least $1,500 for the rescue.
If you're interested in one of our guaranteed entries, please register (here)
Runners may also fundraise for One Tail at a Time if they obtain entry to the race as a legacy finisher, time qualifier or through the drawing.
