Who We Are:

MSU Safe Place is a program that addresses relationship violence and stalking.  We are located on the campus of Michigan State University and serve students, faculty, staff and their spouses/partners and non-affiliated members of the surrounding communities. We provide advocacy, emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, safety planning, information and referrals to survivors of violence and their minor children. We also work to educate the community and raise awareness about these issues. Help us raise funds for a great cause!

About Race for the Place:

The Race for the Place 5K is the kickoff race for the Playmakers Greater Lansing 2013 Race Series.  The event is open to walkers and runners.  The 5K (3.1 mile) course begins and ends at Jenison Field House on the campus of MSU.  There is also a 1-mile fun run for kids 12 and under and a 100 yard dash for kids 6 and under.  All proceeds from Race for the Place benefit MSU Safe Place, the relationship violence and stalking program on the campus of Michigan State University.
