The RIDE For Our Vets is the only charity bike ride benefiting Connecticut veterans. Riders will challenge themselves with one of our four route options while raising important funds for the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC). After The RIDE, join us for a barbeque and celebration at the Point72 headquarters.
Want to ride? Great! There are a few ways to get involved.
How do I sign up?
It’s easy! Click the “Join Now” button and follow the prompts. There is a $75 registration fee. The registration fee is waived for veterans (contact Emilie to receive veteran discount code before registering).
Fundraising is an important part of The RIDE. We offer a variety of resources to get you started! Your rider coach, Emilie, is always available to provide additional resources and tailor a fundraising plan to your efforts!
Some things to keep in mind:
Do you need to be a top athlete to participate in The RIDE For Our Vets? No! Still, you need to prepare. Our training worksheet lays out the framework of an effective training plan.
All routes start and end on the water at Point 72’s headquarters and feature rest stops every 12-16 miles.
