Join us for the 4th annual Del's Ride at Sleepy Hollow Ski and Bike Center in Huntington VT. This mountain bike ride and trail run raises money to benefit Cure AHC: Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood in support of 8-year-old Delaney Johnson of Essex Junction, VT. Delaney has a debilitating disorder known as Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) and epilepsy. There is no cure or 100 percent effective treatment for AHC, which is characterized by recurrent episodes of temporary paralysis, often affecting one side of the body (hemiplegia). In 2016 we raised $21,000 for Cure AHC! You can help us continue to raise money by donating today! Our first ride in 2014 raised more than $7,000 and in 2015 we raised more than $15,000.
Del's Ride 2017 will have three loops for riders from about 7 miles to 20 miles, a 5-6 mile strenuous trail run, as well as a kids ride and activities. Registration is from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. BBQ follows run and ride.
