Benefiting the Hopewell Valley YMCA and Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance

The Pennington 5K Race is a community event which brings runners from all different areas together for a great cause. Each year the Pennington 5K race benefits the Hopewell Valley YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance through the dedication and support of the runners and the sponsors.

Runners can register as an individual or as a team. If you wish to register as a team, you will be able to do so during your initial online individual registration process. If you need assistance in registering a team, please contact Daniel Williams, dwilliams@hvymca.org.

Hopewell Valley YMCA Annual Campaign

The HVYMCA Annual Campaign provides financial assistance to families in need throughout the community. Through financial assisctance, families in need are able to provide opportunities for the youth and families to take part in services such as Special Olympics Programming, Before and After Care Programs, Summer Camp and more. Financial assistance is available to those in need. The YMCA keeps kids safe at before school programs, after school programs and summer camp, develops teen leaders, and supports active older adults through fitness and volunteer opportunities. These opportunities are made possible through the generous support of members, individuals, and businesses.

Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance

The Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance is able to provide community programming aimed at the prevention of alcoholism and drug addiction primarily for the youth.

The Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance works toward this goal by supporting and administering over 20 programs and activities in 3 municipalities of Hopewell Valley: Hopewell Township, Pennington Borough and Hopewell Borough.  These programs and activities are geared toward drug and alcohol awareness and education, positive youth development and overall public safety.
