The Isabella Santos Foundation is a tax-deductible 503(c) that was created in honor of Isabella Santos who lost her battle to Neuroblastoma. The goal of the foundation is to raise money and awareness for Neuroblastoma research, provide financial assistance to families with children who are suffering from cancer as well as provide financial support for organizations that support children with cancer.
To date, ISF has DONATED over 1.5 Million dollars to its mission. These proceeds have gone to such charities as:
Isabella Santos was a 7 year old little girl who lived in Charlotte, North Carolina. In October of 2007, Isabella was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a rare pediatric cancer that affects approximately 500 children a year. Due to the small number of children who are diagnosed with this cancer, there are few treatment options available and a very low survivor rate (40%). Isabella bravely fought this disease for 5 years, but with the lack of pediatric cancer funding she was unable to receive a cure. She passed away in June of 2012.
In her memory, the Isabella Santos Foundation was created to carry out her mission to find a cure for Neuroblastoma. 2017 marks our 10 Year Anniversary and our goal is to raise a million dollars in this calendar year with the hope of making a larger impact in the pediatric cancer community and helping to fulfill Isabella's wishes...
