George Mason University for Makindu

Hope for Makindu

Help George Mason University Help Makindu Kids

The holiday season is a good reminder that our lives are filled with thankfulness, generosity, hope, and love.  Why not provide the same for others and give more than presents this year?

The Makindu Children’s Program is a lifeline for hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya. The approach Makindu Children's Program takes is a holistic strategy incorporating education, nutrition, HIV/AIDS care, and family support, paired with a focus on connecting the children to their native roots as Kenyans. Without the Makindu Children’s Program, these vulnerable children would not be able to live healthy and supported lives. The work is transformational, but they cannot do this alone.

By donating today, you will receive a beautiful memento to give as a gift or keep yourself, AND you will have the opportunity to change lives too!!

  • Each donation of $50.00 receives a beautiful handcrafted beaded bracelet from Kenya. (22 available)

  • Each $75.00 donation receives a unique beaded necklace from Kenya. (3 available)

  • Each $125 receives an exquisite jewelry set of a necklace and cuff bracelet. (1 available)

These pieces of jewelry make excellent presents for the upcoming holiday season as they truly represent gifts that give back.  ACT FAST… supplies are limited, but the opportunity to change lives is endless.

Thank you for making a difference with your support of this wonderful organization.

Happy Holidays!
