Run for Hope 2017-- Team DiverseCity (Virtual Run)

Saturday, April 29, 2017

Run for Hope is on a mission to turn racial division, class segregation, and spiritual poverty into community, possibility, and hope.  Team Diverse Cities is a way for you to participate on our Run for Hope team from your hometown. Instead of traveling to Nashville to participate in the St. Jude's Rock 'N' Roll Nashville Marathon (Full Marathon, Half Marathon, or 5K), simply do your own run/walk in your town, or wherever you want. It can be a group event that you officially register for, or it can be totally casual whenever you want to do it … as long as your ‘run’ is completed by April 29, 2017.

By registering, you are committing to raise $375. We will mail you the team race jersey when they are ready.  You will receive all the great team swag that the Team TobyMac runners will receive onsite in Nashville on race day!  A team shirt, and other great surprises, selected by TobyMac himself will be mailed after the April 29, 2017 event. You have until Saturday, April 29 to raise your funds.  On Tuesday, May 2, if you haven't raised the full amount, the difference will be charged to the credit card you signed up with.

**Additional perk! Each virtual team member who satisfies their fundraising commitment is eligible to receive two (2) meet and greet passes to meet TobyMac at one of his concerts through April 20, 2018. Tickets to the concert must be purchased in order to use the meet and greet passes. Festivals, conferences and special events are not included. Reserve your meet and greet passes by emailing

With every dollar raised, the course of a child’s future is changed forever through the work of New Hope Academy – the school that sparked a cultural movement. Dramatic cultural transformation may start small - with children and a school - but that is only the beginning.  New Hope Academy is a school on a mission to set people free.

New Hope Academy is a remarkable and inspiring place, one that provides an academically rigorous and Gospel-centered education to children who come from varying economic conditions.  New Hope Academy offers an excellent education to children from low-income families, creating a ripple effect of hope and opportunity far beyond its walls.

**You must live outside the state of Tennessee to join this team.**

**The person filling out the fundraising commitment must be 18 years old.  If the registrant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian needs to email Jennifer Beck at with confirmation that a legal adult has agreed to the terms.**
