Sam began volunteering with AbilityPLUS this summer for a hiking program. He was paired with a gentleman who dispite suffering a stroke last year had a goal of summiting Mt. Washington. These two did a number of pre-hikes together and on July 22nd they reached the summit!  Sam was not only a key player in reaching this goal safely, he was also the photographer for the day and was able to capture the beautiful scenery as well as the emotions througout the hike.

Now Sam has a goal of his own. He plans on hiking the New Hampshire section of the Appalacian Trail this fall. He hopes to raise awarness of the programs that AbilityPLUS has to offer.
