Food Allergy Awareness 5K Walk & Run

This unique event is family-friendly and stroller & wheelchair accessible. Funds raised by donations support AFAA (the Anaphylaxis & Food Allergy Association of Minnesota)'s life-saving education programs; year-round support and outreach activities; and local, state, and federal advocacy efforts.

Solo or Teams!

All are welcome - people of all ages and abilities are invited to pledge & fundraise, walk or run, come solo or join a team. You can form a team with anyone - family members, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.

Two Ways to Register!

1) Register & Pay Early Bird rate of $35 until April 30th  (regular rate $50) to get a Walk 5K teeshirt and a Food Allergy Awareness wristband  OR 2) Register & Fundraise to get a Walk 5K teeshirt and a Food Allergy Awareness wristband for each $50 you collect in donations! Donations may be raised online (create your own fundraising page!) and can also be submitted in person on event day

AFAA is a grass-roots, volunteeer-run organization: with no big advertising budget we instead depend on supporters like you to hang fliers in coffee shops and grocery stores; share Facebook posts and Tweets; and forward links and eblasts; and most of all, talk to friends and neighbors, classmates and colleagues, co-workers and employers, and others about AFAA's important work and this wonderful event! All are invited!

The Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association of Minnesota's is a Minnesota 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose accomplishments include universal epinephrine availability in MN ambulances; immediate access to epinephrine for allergic students in schools; amino acid medical insurance coverage; changes in FDA allergen policy; stock epinephrine access for camps, colleges,universities, and daycares; training for educators, medical professionals, food service professionals; year-round allergen-free activities for children and families; and widespread distribution of materials; and extensive educational outreach efforts.
