Schools for Water

Chances are you turn on a tap everyday and water comes out. Clean. Yet there are nearly a billion people on our planet are without access to safe water to drink.

Millions of children in Africa spend their day walking for hours to collect water instead of going to school.

Katie Spotz and ten schools have teamed up to make history. Each school is raising enough coins to make a four mile line (which is the average distance children in Kenya walk each day for water).

With each school doing their part, we're lining up the coins and attempting to break the world record for the longest line of coins, ultimately helping thousands of children gain access to safe water.

Schools for Water are raising money to fund safe drinking water projects in south western Kenya for Aqua Clara International, one of Blue Planet Network’s partners.

For about $10 a child, we can help millions.

Start by helping one.

You, too, can support the Schools for Water campaign by creating a fundraising page for yourself or for your school.
