Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life challenges. All of the programs and services provided by Camp Good Days are offered free of charge for the participants, which is only possible through the generosity of so many individuals and organizations and the success of our many special fundraising events.
Camp Good Days provides residential camping programs at our beautiful Recreational Facility, located on the shores of Keuka Lake in Branchport, New York, as well as year-round recreational and support activities, in the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse & Ithaca ,New York areas for the entire family, who are facing the toughest challenges of life. At Camp Good Days, participants have the opportunity to regain some of what cancer, sickle cell anemia, or violence has taken away from them.
Over the years, Camp Good Days and Special Times has added more programs to serve the community. There are programs for children who have lost or have a parent or sibling diagnosed with cancer. A Women’s Oncology Program on weekends to help rejuvenate and foster a sense of well-being for women diagnosed with cancer. The KATS (Kids Adjusting Through Support) program offers support sessions for families that have lost someone to illness.
In 2010, Camp Good Days began the Cancer Mission 2020 initiative to help end cancer by the end of the decade. Cancer Mission 2020 promotes a combined effort of private, government, research, and educational sectors in ending this often catastrophic disease. To learn more, visit cancermission2020.com.
