The 3rd Annual CASA SuperHero 5K Run/Walk will benefit abused and neglected children in the Kansas City Community. Combining the efforts of CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties and Jackson County CASA we created a chip-timed 5K run/walk, kids’ fun run, family-friendly activities, vendors, costume contests and more!
7:00 a.m. – Late Day Registration, Packet Pick up & Costume Contest
8:00 a.m. – SuperHero 5k Run/Walk Starts
9:00 a.m. – Awards Ceremony
9:15 a.m. – SuperHero Kids Fun Run Starts

5K Participants will receive a T-shirt, Race Bag and Finisher Medal. Medals awarded to the top 3 male and female runners in each age group; a prize will be awarded to the top male and female participant. Food and beverages will also be available for all participants.
Kids' Fun Run participants will receive a finisher medal, superhero cape and goody bag. A Kids Zone will also be available with many family-friendly activities.
We encourage participants to wear their favorite superhero costume. We will have four categories available: Best Overall, Most Creative and Most Original and Best Team/Group.
Finisher and Top Runner Medals will be distributed at the Awards Tent close to the finish line.
Prizes for the top male and female participants, Costume Contest and Top Fundraisers will be distributed before the Kids Fun Run.

Right now there are more than 3,000 abused and neglected children in our metro area who need a CASA Volunteer. You can help us serve these children by asking your friends and family to support your participation in the CASA SuperHero 5K.
