Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
I recently decided to run the New York City Half Marathon on March 16, 2014. This will be my third half, but it will be a little different than the others. This March, I will be running for Team Boomer, a program that supports and encourages people with cystic fibrosis, a chronic lung disease for which there is currently no cure.
Team Boomer raises money to spread the word about the benefits of exercise for people with CF, to support a CF scholar-athlete specific scholarship, and to contribute to the efforts being made to find a cure for CF. Team Boomer is part of the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which works to increase awareness, education, and quality of life for those affected by CF. For more information on both organizations, please visit esiason.org.
As many of you know, my mother’s sister Mary Kay Wallace passed away to CF in 1983 at age 18. This year, I am 18. It is my hope that I may both honor Mary Kay and support all those living with CF today through my participation with Team Boomer. In order to do so, I need your support.
On the behalf of my family, the CF community, and myself, thank you so much for your support! Please be sure to spread the word!
