On May 10th, 2015 I will be leaving for Israel to participate in the Ramah Bike Ride. The Ramah Bike Ride raises money to support Ramah programs for children, teens and young adults with special needs and their families.
In just 5 days I will ride a total of 165 miles, an average of 33 miles per day at an average elevation of 1,286 feet! This is particularly challenging as I am just learning how to ride a bike.
At Ramah, thousands of children, teens and young adults come together each summer in camp communities that nurture social, educational, physical and spiritual growth, creating lifelong relationships, a love for Israel and a strong Jewish identity. Each year, more than 6,500 campers and 2,500 university-aged staff members populate the 8 residential camps, 3 day camps, and Israel programs.
All proceeds from your donation go directly to the program. Thank you in advance for your support. Please forward this email to anyone who you think may also want to support this great program!
With great gratitude and appreciation,
