Walk For Andy and the Kelberman Center!
1 in every 110 children, are diagnosed with Autism or an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) every year. 4 times as many boys will be diagnosed than girls. This is more than pediatric AIDS, Cancer, and Diabetes combined.
We are walking in support of my son Andrew, who was diagnosed in November of 2011. He is a happy, energetic, and healthy 4 year old. We just have a different definition of normal than most. Andy operates at about a 20-24 month developmental level, but he brings a smile to every person he meets!
Help us support Andy and the Kelberman Center. The Kelberman Center at Upstate Cerebral Palsy is a regional center for excellence for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related learning challenges. They are dedicated to excellence in service through: prompt evaluation and diagnosis; individualized education and services; social and life skills enhancement; innovative practices, training and research. They believe in the power of individuals, family, and community working together to maximize our collective potential.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts for the walk on April 21th.
We appreciate your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
