Most of you know my passion for skiing and that I volunteer for Disabled Sports of the Eastern Sierra. DSES is a non-profit organization that teaches disabled children and adults how to ski. Skiing is a sport that everyone is able to do with the proper equipment and instruction. As a volunteer, I am reaching out to my friends and family to help support their program. My goal is to raise $1000. Please help me reach my goal.
Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is bringing FUNdraising onto the slopes of Mammoth Mountain for SPRING EXPO on Saturday, April 5th! SPRING EXPO is the finale and celebration of our fundraising campaign AND our opportunity to show everyone what we do every day! DSES is a volunteer based, non-profit that teaches more than 3,500 adaptive sports lessons per year. Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra believes the freedom and exhilaration of outdoor challenges changes lives. No one should be left behind simply because of a disability! Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this on to anyone who you think might want to donate too!!
All of the proceeds from our fundraisers help local and regional people with disabilities, Wounded Warriors or go directly to providing adaptive equipment to make outdoor recreation possible. Here is a link to the DSES website and to the SPRING EXPO website which includes a cool video about our program.
