Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

As many of you know, our son Donald was diagnosed wih regressive autism March 2011 and although it didnt change the sweet, loving, cuddly boy Donald is, we did have some significant challenges ahead of us. In the last year Donald immediately began intensive ABA, speech & occupational therapies. With the help of caring & dedicated team members, Donald has made incredible strides. He is speaking almost fluently, following directions, giving directions & engaging in his everyday life. He is thriving! Upon his 3rd birthday in March, he entered the school system and has blossomed even more, interacting with his peers & engaging in a normal routine in a regular classroom setting. With the help of his one-on-one aide & the amazing teachers and staff with the East Bridgewater school system, we are confidant that he will grow, progress & mature in the years to come. We know we have a long road ahead but working with wonderful organizations like Community Autism Resources has helped our family navigate this sometimes confusing, complex & sensitive journey.

My husband Don & I decided to do this walk-a-thon a 2nd year in a row to continue the healing process from our diagnosis of Autism so maybe someday our small efforts will help other families that receive this devastating, life changing diagnosis.

On behalf of Don, myself & our wonderful little boy,  Donald David Gardner~ We know that times are tough & money is tight so we thank you in advance for your generous donation.

***Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
