Garth and Kristy Warren's Marathon Page

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

In less that two weeks, we will be running in the Chicago Marathon! We have been training for this since mid-April and we are so excited!  We are writing to ask you to consider praying for us as we run in the race, and to say thank you for the encouragement many of you have given us over the past number of months in preparation for this event, especially this last month as we have both battled injuries.

We would also like to ask you to consider supporting the cause we will be running for called Oasis for Orphans.  Oasis for Orphans is an organization committed to rescuing and developing orphaned and vulnerable children in Kenya. We invite you to join us as we strive to serve the 2.4 million Kenyan orphans still in need of rescue. Oasis for Orphans has already established an orphanage for 50 children and is currently in the ground breaking stages of building a second facility for an additional 50 children.

We have made a commitment to raise $3,000 toward the goal of $200,000 necessary to complete this new facility.

The work that this Kenya-based ministry does is simply amazing. Would you consider joining us as we care for these precious children and see hope become a reality in their lives?  Your gift of any amount will truly help change the life of a child in desperate need!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.

If you prefer to donate offline, contributions can be mailed to:

Oasis for Orphans

If donating offline, please include our names and Chicago Marathon on the memo line of your check.

Many thanks in advance for your support!

God Bless You,

Garth and Kristy
