CP to DC: Andrew's Road to Recovery

Andrew Salter is a member of the MARSOC Foundation family.  Andrew was born 7 weeks early and at 18 months old was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.  After seeing many specialists in North Carolina, we took him to see the premier neurosurgeon, Dr. T.S. Park, at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital for Dr. Park to perform a Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) procedure.  Our insurance has been phenomenal for the medical portion of coverage.  The MARSOC Foundation has generously given us the opportunity to go to St. Louis and have the surgery, and stay an extended time for him to get extra therapy while we are there.

In token of our gratitude, Andrew’s Mom, Kelli, will run the 42nd Marine Corps Marathon with the MARSOC Foundation.  With your help, our family hopes to raise $15,000 to show the MARSOC Foundation how grateful we are to have the opportunity to offer the best care to our son.  We hope you will consider donating to this worthy cause.  The MARSOC Foundation is a fully vetted 510(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
