Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!
I'll be running in my first Boston Marathon on April 20, 2015 as a member of Genzyme's Running for Rare Diseases Team. The money raised by our team will support the non-profit National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), specifically for the Genzyme/NORD National Institute of Health (NIH) Undiagnosed Diseases Program (UDP), a fund set up in 2013 to help rare disease patients find a diagnosis. This fund assists individuals who cannot afford to pay for the medical testing needed to make them eligible to apply for the NIH Undiagnosed Diseases Program.
The most amazing thing about being a member of Genzyme's Running Team is the patient partnership program, which connects runners on the team with members of the rare disease community. I am truly honored and humbled to have the opportunity to take part in this amazing and life-changing experience and kindly ask for your support!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Thanks so much for your support -- and please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
