I have been lucky enough to have been chosen to run this years Boston Marathon as part of Team MR8. In case you are unfamiliar with this team, it is the Martin W. Richard Charitable Foundation. Martin's life was tragically cut short on April 15, 2013 at the young age of 8 years old while cheering on his Dad and thousands of other marathoners at the finish line. His message of "No more hurting people-Peace" by investing in education, athletics and community is something we can all benefit from.
I am humbled by this opportunity as well as excited to take this challenge on. By no means am I a professional runner, like many of my cousins :) But, to know me is to know that this charity and this marathon holds a special place in my heart. This is about Boston. This is about our family and friends. This is about heart. This is about the thrill of hard work paying off and so much more. With your help I am confident that we can supersede my fundraising goal.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! Thanks and I hope to see many of you out on the course on April 21!
Peace and love,
