To have known Neal is to have known that he was an active golfer. He was a man who loved the game, even when the game didn't love him. Born in 1945 in Canandaigua, Neal graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 1963. He joined the Air Force in 1964 and served proudly in the Vietnam War.
In December 1970, Neal married the love of his life, Betty and went on to have two daughters, Kelly and Kimberly. He was an avid fisherman, one heck of a golfer and a lifelong New York Giants fan. He was also an active member of The Pheasant Golf Links, where we will be hosting this year's tournament.
Several years ago, Neal was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, a disease with no survivors and no known cure. Our goal with this tournament is to bring awareness to Lewy Body, raise funds for much-needed research and create a memorable experience to remember our dad, brother and friend.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Lewy Body Dementia Association. Please consider golfing with us, sponsoring, or donating.
