With the winter over and tax season behind us, I have taken on the exciting challenge of the 2015 Ramah Israel Bike Ride Trip to support Tikvah and all the incredibly inspiring Special Needs programs at Ramah camps.
The ride is from May 12 through May 19. The route I plan to be taking averages 53 miles a day at an average elevation of 4,296 feet. But who's counting.
The challenge is both to be able to finish the ride, which will take place in the mountainous terrain of Northern Israel in the Galil and Golan Heights, as well as to raise as much funding as possible to help with scholarships and staff training for programs for campers with disabilities.
Please consider sponsoring my participation in this Ramah movement-wide fund raiser for special needs programs. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference in the lives of children, teens and young adults with Autism, Aspergers, Down Syndrome and other conditions of developmental delay who can attend camp and be inspired and nurtured there.
Thanks so much for considering a gift. You can mail a check to National Ramah, 3080 Broadway, NY, NY 10027 or simply make an on-line donation through my personal web page at www.ramahbikeride.org
Many thanks for your consideration.
