Special Olympics College at the University of Florida

The University of Florida student club Special Olympics College is hosting a 5K to benefit Alachua County athletes! The run/walk will be on UF's campus with the start and finish at Flavet Field and there'll be festivities after the race as well.

Special Olympics provide free year-round sports training, athletic competition and medical care for children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities. This means that financial boundaries are not a factor for any athlete wishing to participate in recreational and social activities; life changing opportunities like traveling and staying overnight at state competitions. Through quality-based athletic programs, we empower the athletes we serve to achieve healthier lifestyles, dignity, self-confidence, social acceptance and hope.

The registration fee will be $20 for UF students and $25 for all others.

Arrival time will be 8 am (Park anywhere near Flavet Field on UF's capus)
Race will start at 8:30 am
