I am fortunate to be selected to run the Boston Marathon for an amazing organization, The Home for Little Wanderers. They help children of all ages by providing resources such as behavioral health, therapeutic residential and special education, adoption and foster care. Check out the video on the side for details. My fundraising goal is $10,000 and I need as much help as I can get to raising that. Whether its $20, $50 or $100, every donation counts. Please share this to spread the news. You can donate on this site, Venmo me at @VictorRun or contact me at 912-656-2759 if you need a way to send money. I appreciate every bit of it.
This organization means a lot to me. Last summer, I started volunteering as a big brother (Pictured) and it is amazing to see the positive impact that can have on a child. I've seen that even a small moment can make a lifelong impact on a child. The Home for Little Wanderers visited the MSLGROUP office in Boston. They've brought in homemade food for us and joined us for a paint night. It is an honor and a privilege to run for this organization.
For those that don’t know, I was a cross country runner in high school. However, I didn't run much in college. Since I've moved to Boston last year, I started to pick up running again. I ran a half-marathon last April and have been training hard since. I didn't think I would ever get back in running shape to run a marathon, but I decided now is as good of a time as ever. Why not start with the Boston Marathon? My mother has run the Boston marathon twice, so she won't let me forget it if I don’t cross the finish line. I have a lot of people to thank for getting me this far. Now I am focusing on training and fundraising. Please donate if you can.
