Lungapalooza 2011 - Aaron's Army

Thank you for visiting my Lungapalooza 2011 fundraising page!

This is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart.  As many of you know, I am a living-donor, double-lung recipient, as well as a cadeveric single left-lung recipient.  Without these two life-saving lung transplants, I would not be sitting here typing this today.

Things have become more complicated for me in the past few years because of chronic rejection.  I have had to undergo many treatments in an effort to stabilize and delay the rejection as much as possible.

This is where the LTF comes in.  The LTF's primary mission is to fund research into ways to improve the long-term outcomes for lung transplant patients...i.e., delay (or cure) chronic rejection.

Lungapalooza is the LTF's flagship annual fundraiser.  Any little bit you can donate will go a long way toward helping people like me (and others who have recieved the gift of breath) to live even longer, healthier lives than are likely right now.

Thank you in advance for whatever you are able to do!
