Angelo Fiori's Page

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Southern Tier AIDS Program. Inc.!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Please forward this to anyone you think might want to donate. YES, YOU CAN STILL DONATE UNTIL JUNE 30, 2012 - DON'T WORRY IF YOU'RE LATE!

I am honored to be on the Board of Directors at STAP as well as volunteer photographer, art teacher, newsletter designer and mentor at Identity.

Any money I raise here will be earmarked for art supplies and whatever artistic program I am involved with STAP. My passion in life is art and I hope to share it as much as possible in my community. Donating would be a good way to remember my birthday which is almost the same date as the Walk. A dollar for each year would be great. . . remember I am older than I look!

I am working as art teacher at Identity’s Friday Art Class and First Friday’s Art in Progress. Started a new progam called “Art is for Giving” where art done by my students and myself will be given to People with HIV through STAP and their special projects.

Identity is a community youth center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning youth and their allies in downtown Binghamton. It is a safe and confidential place for LGBTQ teens ages 14-20 to find support, ask questions, hang out and express themselves. At Identity’s Friday Art Class on First Friday we invite the public to join us in our Art in Progress Class. This has been very popular and a great way to promote a healthy gay environment in our community.

Many thanks for your support here and your encouragement through my cancer last year. I am glad to say I am cancer free!

Let me know if you would like a painting done by me or a student at Identity as a thank you for being so supportive (see flower painting with black background in right corner). Your past support has bought a lot of art supplies and inspired a lot great art work at my art classes. Some of which has been shown at local art shows and donated to help raise money for local charities. One of my goals is to help improve our local community.
