I’m playing in a charity Home Run Derby on October 22nd at the Phillies Minor league stadium in Lakewood NJ at 4pm. I am raising money for the Colucci family whose story is below. The organization supporting the Colucci’s is called Homers for Hope. This charity pays the everyday household bills for families like theirs who have suffered a tragic event and now need financial help.
PLEASE help me reach my fundraising goal. As Homers for Hope is 100% volunteer driven, 100% of your money will go straight to help the Colucci family. Donating is fast, easy, save, and tax deductible. You will get an email receipt from Homers immediately after donating.
ANY amount is greatly appreciated, and as a thank you, for every $10 donated, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win either a 55 inch TV or a Kindle Fire.
PLEASE give whatever you can. I personally appreciate it, and Homers for Hope and the Colucci family thank you.
The Colucci Family of Roxborough
Nick his beautiful wife Rochelle, and the kids, 10 year old Nicholas and 6 year old Sophia, are just like any normal family trying to make it. Nick plays in the URSL softball league and is a salesman for Vector Security and Rochelle worked as a book keeper for several small businesses. Nicholas hopes to someday be a player in the NBA cause “I’m a savage!” and Sophia hope to someday be “teacher and a mommy”.
Everything changed for them last year when Rochelle was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Homers for Hope helped them in their time of need, paying for a few of their everyday household bills while they went through radiation and chemo treatments.
Recently the cancer returned and is in Rochelle’s Pelvis and spine. Several surgeries are needed in addition to more radiation. Nick had to reduce his hours and Rochelle can’t work at all, so there is a very bumpy road ahead for the Colucci family, and they could use all the support you can give. They are very thankful for their family, friends, their brothers and sisters in softball and complete strangers for stepping up to the plate in the October 22nd, fall Dinger Derby in Lakewood NJ, for raising money for them and other families that Homers for Hope supports.
