Cycle For Courage is a one-day event taking place at numerous locations where volunteers participate in group indoor cycling to raise money and community awareness for Camp Good Days. I've committed to do 5 hours on a bike, and if I raise over $600, I'm going to bump it up to 6 hours! Be generous if you want to make me really work for this. The kids will thank you, my legs won't!
Camp Good Days is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults, and families whose lives have been touched by cancer through summer camping experiences and year-round activities.
Camp Good Days was founded over 30 years ago by Gary Mervis to provide a residential camping program for his daughter, Teddi Mervis, and 62 other children with cancer from Upstate New York. It has now grown to become one of the largest organizations of its kind in the world.
Camp Good Days maintains it's own recreational facility, located on the shores of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York, where the residential camping programs take place.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Update: Thanks for everyone's generous support! I'm committed to the whole 6 hours. My friend John Connor has challenged me to reach a virtual 100 miles on this adventure. Challenge accepted!
