Candy Kalman's Fundraising Page

Welcome to my fundraising page for the Escondido Humane Society’s Paws in the Park 2010 walk! Thank you for your support of my walk to raise funding and awareness for animals in need.

The Escondido Humane Society (EHS) protects 155,000 animals and directly shelters over 4,500 homeless, abused, neglected or abandoned animals every year. By the time an animal reaches the doors of the Escondido Humane Society, they are often their very last hope. As an open-door shelter, all homeless companion animals in the area are welcomed, regardless of age, injury, health, or intensive needs. Despite limited space and funding, healthy animals are safe at the Escondido Humane Society, no matter how long it takes to find them a new home. With our help, the Escondido Humane Society creates a place where every animal is welcome and offered safety, medical care, rehabilitation and a loving new family.

Every animal, every day deserves a safe place to call home. The animals depend on the Escondido Humane Society for a second chance. And the Escondido Humane Society depends on people like us to continue their lifesaving work. The animals don’t ask for much, and every gift will make a big difference in their life.

Every dollar raised at Paws in the Park 2010 cares for the animals at the Escondido Humane Society. Your sponsorship of my walk will be transformed into safe shelter, healthy food, medical care, and TLC for an animal who needs our help.

Think of an animal who has made a difference in your life, and do what you can to help other animals just like him or her. Please sponsor me as I walk in honor of all animals who need and deserve our support. Your gift is fully tax-deductible (Escondido Humane Society’s Tax ID #95-1661662), and will do so much good for dogs, cats, and all companion animals across San Diego. Join me today in saving lives – four paws at a time.
