Every donation has the chance to win an Apple Ipod Shuffle and gift cards!
Winners will be drawn the day after the marathon.
On March 20st 2011, Christine van Eyck will be running the Los Angeles City Marathon. That's me in the upper left corner.
In the process I will be raising money for U.S. Vets. All donations will go directly to assisting Veterans through various programs relating to mental health, counseling, job training, employment, homelessness and much more. Men and women in the military make sacrifices every day to ensure our nation’s freedoms and safety. Show your support for these men and women by donating to this worthy cause.
The course is 26.2 miles from Dodger Stadium to the Santa Monica beach finish line. I will be doing the running, but I need your support in order to raise this money!
Every dollar does make a difference!
The concept for this fundraiser was motivated by the Veteran in my life, my father. My father served in the United States Army, specifically in the Vietnam war. There are so many veterans who willingly put their lives in danger to protect our freedoms, and it is our privilege to support all members of the military during their time of need.
Let us bring awareness to the needs of American Veterans and support them, while at the same time providing the encouragement for Christine to run the marathon. Donations will go to U.S. Vets. There is no amount too small. Every dollar counts!
To make a donation, simply click on the “Sponsor Me Now” button below, and you will be directed to a secure page where you can make your donation . Please note that your donations are 100% tax deductible. Also, if you prefer to make a donation in cash or check, that too, will go straight to this cause.
Thanks again for visiting my page and for your generous support! Please feel free to forward this page to anyone you know who might be interested in this cause! If everyone who visited this page could donate $5 or even $1, we would exceed this goal. I cannot do this without your help. Thank you again!
Christine van Eyck
See you at the finish line!
