RAMAH GALIL RIDE 2011
SUPPORTING CAMP RAMAH and HONORING MATT FENSTER
I am very excited to participate in the Ramah Galil Bike Ride (250 miles over 5 days) in support of the the special needs programs at Camp Ramah. I plan to ride in honor of my dear friend Matt Fenster, an individual who has been an inspiration to me and many others.
Camp Ramah has been a special place for me and my family for many years. Many years ago, five summers at Ramah New England as a madrich (counselour) and rosh edah (division head) gave me my first opportunity to see the impact that the Tikvah program can have on youngsters with special needs. My present Ramah home is Camp Ramah in the Berkshires where the Breira program provides a Ramah opportunity for campers that require additional social support and guidance. Over the past 14 summers as the camp doctor I have seen for myself the tremendous impact that this program has on not only the chanichim (campers), but on the entire Ramah community.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Your support is very much appreciated. Please forward this page to anyone who you think might want to donate!
Thanks for your support of Camp Ramah, and for helping me honor Matt.
