In 2005, Greg Fingar, a wonderful father, husband, brother, son, friend was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Greg's first reaction was to beat this disease to spend more time with his family. His mission: "To never, never give up". He fought hard, but after countless surgeries and experimental chemo trials, his battle ended September 1, 2010. Greg left many loved ones behind, including his most prized possessions, his two young boys, aged 11 and 16 at the time. Steven, Michael and I vowed to continue to 'fight' in his memory. The boys have coordinated fundraisers over the years through Relays for Life and other events. And, every year I am able to run Boston, I now do so in his memory. This is my 10th Boston and I want to thank every one who have supported us and help fund research for pancreatic cancer.
One more time.. one step at a time and hope to "never, never give up".
Dale, Steven and Michael
