Hello my lovin' peeps! Guess what? It's race time again!!! This year, Reilly and I will be participating in the GW Parkway Classic to raise money for Comfort Zone Camps. As most of you know, the boys lost their daddy to cancer on June 29th, 2010. The indescribable pain and sadness they continue to experience every day is a horror that no child should ever have to endure. And sadly, grieving a loss of this magnitude is a life-long journey. But here's the good news... Comfort Zone provides AMAZING bereavement camps for children that help put them on the path to healing. I can't even express the brilliant program that CZC has created... their camp weekends are filled with love, laughter, tears, understanding, and so much more. They are free for the campers... because of wonderful donors like you... and the boys can attend every year until they are 17.
We want to enable as many other grieving kids as we possibly can, to be blessed by the magic that is Comfort Zone.
Reilly will soon be attending the Junior Counselor Training Program so that he can volunteer to help other kids work through their grief. Comfort Zone has given him such incredible coping skills, and has really shown him that he is not on this journey alone. I'm so proud of him!!!
Their camp experience last year was life-changing, and both boys are thrilled to be attending their next Comfort Zone Camp in March.
It costs $500.00 to provide a beautiful weekend of healing for each camper. ANY amount you can give will be GREATLY appreciated... every single dollar counts!!!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Thank you SO MUCH for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!!! If you would like to read more about Comfort Zone Camps, please visit them at www.comfortzonecamp.org.
Much love to you all,
