David Frier's Cube
I have been thinking about cubes. In fact, I chose the goal for this year to be Ramanujan's Number, which is tied to the idea of cubes. But also, I think about solids. Cubes in the real world. In three-dimensional space.
It's been a long time since we have faced so much work at once in our society. So much to be done, and undone. To get through it all we will need to be solid. Three-dimensional. Cubic.
Make no mistake, it's not just about money. But the money matters, a lot. When one anti-intellectual billionaire appoints another to cabinet posts like Education or HHS, we have to stand firm. Solid. Cubical. With a racist bigot in the White House, we need to be solid. we need to do work in three dimensions, in the real world.
So, in the spirit of Ramanujan, I suggest donating in cubes.
3 cubed is 27. If you were going to give $25, why not $27?
4 cubed is 64. If you were going to give $50, why not $64?
5 cubed is 125. If you were going to give $100, why not $125?
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
