Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I recently made the decision to register and run in the 2010 Falmouth Road Race on August 15th. Anyone that knows me well knows that I'm not a runner, I've never been a runner, and running has been my lifelong athletic nemesis. With some encouragement from family and friends I've decided it's time to show my flat feet and weak knees who's really in charge and run the 7 mile race.
Although I'm choosing to run this race to achieve a personal goal, I'd also like to make this about more than just myself by collecting donations to be made to the Lupus Foundation of New England. As most of you know, my sister Cory, suffers from this disease. As I've seen her go through tough and painful times, it is my hope that one day there will be a better form of treatment, if not a cure for Lupus.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
