"To find out how much you've truly been blessed with in terms of love, time, energy, talent, joy, abundance, confidence, intelligence, wit, or any other quality, substance, or dispensation...give of them. Then you'll know what boundless really means."

Friends of Animals
Advocates for the rights of animals to live free
according to their terms

Friends of Animals is a non-profit, International Animal Advocacy Organization that's been around since 1957. Friends of Animals works to cultivate a respectful view of nonhuman animals, free-living and domestic. Their goal is to free animals from cruelty and institutionalized exploitation around the world.

The many projects and services provided by Friends of Animals are supported by membership contributions, bequests, and grants. Friends of Animals is dedicated to informing the world about animal advocacy issues, educating on the importance of being and becoming Vegan and encouraging people to get involved in their local communities as volunteer activists and representatives of their spay/neuter project.

Since its beginning in 1957, Friends of Animals has assumed a leadership role in advocating low-cost spaying and altering as the most effective means of preventing the births of unwanted dogs and cats. For more than five decades, they have operated the only nationwide breeding control program in the United States, facilitating more than 2 million spay/neuter procedures.

Pet owners may purchase or apply for a low cost certificate from Friends of Animals that can be used for a routine spay or neuter surgery at any Friends of Animals participating Veterinary hospitals. For more details on how to get a certificate, please visit their web page:

With the loyal support of friends and members from all walks of life throughout the world, each year, Friends of Animals continues to work hard to actively meet the needs of more animals on more fronts than any other animal advocacy group of their kind.
