Welcome! My name is Janet Vassallo and I thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Braden is my great nephew. His proud parents are my nephew Anthony and great friend Emily. Braden is 3 years old and was diagnosed with autism last summer.
This year, 1 out of every 110 kids will be diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. By running for autism research, I hope to show those who are affected by autism that they do not stand alone and that we have the power to make a difference.
My fitness goal for 2012 is to participate in 12 fitness events. I call it my "12 in 2012". The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon 5K is May 19, 2012 and out of all the events I have planned; this is going to be my favorite. Running to support someone whom I love and care for very much; my little man Braden. What an honor.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. You may also make cash or check donations to me. Please make checks payable to OAR.
Many thanks for your continued support-- whether it be a monetary donation, your friendship and love or simply spreading awareness; together we can make a difference!! - please feel free to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate, learn more about autism or join us in Cleveland!
